Our Leadership
Message from the Basileus
Greetings,
As the current Basileus, it is my distinct honor and privilege to greet you on behalf of the Brothers of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Phi Iota Chapter.
Since 1974 the men of Phi Iota Chapter have and will continue to strive to exhibit the four Cardinal Principles of our great Fraternity which are Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. As leaders of change, the Brothers in this chapter are truly making a difference in our community, the workplace, and in our beloved Fraternity. This is a commitment that we will bring to fruition by delivering relevant community service projects in the areas of social action, mentoring, education, economic empowerment, and health initiatives to ensure that the needs are met in the communities in which we serve, work and live.
In Phi Iota Chapter our goals are set high, events such as the Dr. George M. Greene Scholarship Golf Tournament and our annual Mardi Gras event, just to name a few, will help to fund our college scholarship program and other community-based initiatives. Funds received from our fundraisers also support our Adopt-a-Family program, our annual Turkey-Ham Giveaway and our Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway. However, our ability to deliver on those initiatives as well as our continued success with those Endeavors is totally dependent on the support that you provide to us and for that we say thank you!
Fraternally,
Brother Anthony Gibbs
