Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Michael has been an Arizona resident since 2011.  Michael graduated with his B.S. in Banking and Finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2005, then returned to school to obtain his MBA with a Finance concentration from Grand Canyon University in 2014.

Michael works as Fintech Underwriter helping large volume merchants seek card acquiring and ACH services while remaining compliant to card brand, regulatory, and industry standards.  He has worked in this space for 12 years for companies including PayPal and American Express as well as international companies including Montreal-based Nuvei Payment Technologies and London-based Checkout.com LLC.

Michael was initiated into Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. through the Beta Upsilon Chapter on December 14, 2002, and has since served in various committees and leadership roles.  In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing chess, comedies, reading, and spending time with his wife Amelia, and daughter Eden.
